"PROJECTION OF THE FILM "COURJUMELLE" January 26, 2018

This film revived slices of life of the 1920s ... A grandfather, a grandmother and their grandchildren plunge us back to the heart of this period. Filmed in more than forty communes, it is a transmission of trades, beliefs, architectures that have succumbed under the blows of progress. With him have been diluted beliefs, some of which still persist but are only whispered by a few ... Emotions, humor in this beautiful region!

ARTMONIE OF WINTER, 17th and 18th February 2018

" A diverse exhibition, full of surprise and charm at the heart of the vast subject of  animal art " (C. Roux NR). A collection of painted wooden birds, their legs made from blackthorn, standing on driftwood branches, was exhibited by Gilles Grebonval, Yves - Louis Castel's bronzes and Jacky Delon's paintings, attracted the visitors. Pictures more true than nature of Véronique and Cyril Delorme transported us to the heart of the wildlife of our Sologne. The projection commented by these pictures was very appreciated by the public.

RECEPTION CABARET - April 27, 2018

The "Reception Cabaret" of Friday, April 27, 2018 offered a funny and dynamic show with "Henriette and Rosette: Love and Charcuterie". The public came in large numbers and shared with the artists the songs of a well-known repertoire and ended the evening with, naturally, a plate of charcuterie ... In the afternoon, with the children of the center "Accueil de Loisirs de Souesmes / Pierrefitte" Henriette and Rosette presented their musical instruments (accordion and double bass) then they animated a body percussion workshop. At the end of the workshop the children offered their parents a little show to show how we can make music when we have no instruments. It should be noted that the artists, the parents, the animation team at the Accueil de Loisirs center and the members of Art'VS appreciated the snack prepared in the morning by the children during a "cooking workshop" with, among others delicacies, a sausage in .... Chocolate. Thanks to the facilitators for this participation.

PONT FESTIVAL - May 10 to 13, 2018

For the weekend of the Ascension pond Festival was installed near the 3 ponds of the village (Etang de la Lande, Etang des Bruyeres and Etang des Gatz) to allow to enjoy the animations prepared by the Fishing Society "Le Gardon" and "Artistement vôtre en Sologne". Walk around the ponds and information on fishing, observation of fishermen in action and carp anglers, painters looking for the right light to fix on the canvas fauna and flora of the ponds, a tavern to give a festive side to this frame, all the ingredients were there to spend good moments in the middle of a beautiful green setting.

For photography specialists, Christian Beaudin, an art photographer, hosted a conference-projection at the Salle des Fêtes with the theme "Observe and photograph the birds of the ponds". Monsieur and Madame de Vulpillières had opened a room of their castle - "The castle of Souesmes" - to allow Angélique Thiault, Annick Pourlier, Philippe Debré, Michel Pétinay and the Editions du Jeu de l'Oie to present a large ornithological exhibition. quality that has been very successful. Many visitors enjoyed this exhibition throughout the Festival.

Patrice Martin-Lalande, President of the Pays de Grande Sologne, present on Saturday, said that "the ponds are places where you can do much more than you think".

To conclude, these 4 days of Festival could have welcomed a much more numerous public if Mamet, Pancrase and Servais (these famous Saints of Ice) Had not been invited to this festival of ponds  !!!
